I'm NOT having lag issues; What are best settings?

Ok, so I'm not having any of the lag issues that everyone else has had, but the settings use technical names and a cyclical selection menu (i.e. it cycles around to the lowest setting after you go "past" the highest)which is doubly confusing when there are only two settings in a menu. Is "Texture" better than "Blit" in [Kurt is a..]? Which is the better [Masked Texture] option, "Chroma Keying" or "Texture alpha"?

I've bought many "newer" games, but in this case I'm not asking for investment advice. I'm looking for technical advice.
