A girl was murdered by her ex-boyfriend a few towns over from me.

I live a few miles away from this town. People have been buzzing about it for days, particularly when I go to work at the grocery store. The local paper has been running numerous exposes on teen dating violence. Though I didn't know this girl, the way she was killed by her ex-boyfriend - a guy with no previous criminal record, is particularly brutal and is somewhat shocking, even to me. So this guy just forfeited his freedom, his hockey scholarship, and his future... over a girl! |

Are you sure you didn't fall asleep and......
Look I'm not trying to point figers, but I saw that movie "Brainscan" and well.....all I'm saying is that you might want to lock yourself up before you "hurt" anyone else. |

Women are just as guilty of abuse as men are, if not more as they get away with it more often. Men usually won't admit that some little girl is terrorizing them. Last edited by MADDOGGE: 07-09-2011 at 02:03 PM. |

Coming from someone with experience in a long term relationship the whole "loving someone to death" scenario makes sense to me. While I have more than enough self-control to NOT kill someone in this way, I could easily understand how the desire is there if they do something to hurt you.
I'm guessing if he was angry enough to kill her then she most likely did something pretty unforgivable after the break-up. I doubt it wasn't pre-meditated. |

Take it from Blue, I know the love game.
A break up can be serious buisness to a guy. Sadley, some guys cant handle it, and that is what happens. Society and the medical world still doenst look at a break-up as a serious problem psychologicaly...but to some, it is. My guess is one day the field of psycology will evolve, and people who are having a very hard time will be required to talk to someone about it. |
