[Mac]Multi-touch controls?

I've just bought a MacBook Pro, and as I can see from the storefront this game has dedicated multi-touch controls. How do they work? I mean, does using a multi-touch trackpad instead of a mouse make a sensible ~~difference~~ improvement?
The concept, the look&feel and the audio aspects of the game all seem really neat, and the price makes it even more tempting. I'll probably end up buying it anyway, just wanted to hear some opinions first.

in the pc version, you have to hold the left mouse button to be moving the object, otherwise you're moving the cursor. mac-version, you move your cursor with one finger, move the object when touching the pad with two fingers. feels definetely more intuitive.
