"Stopped working" error in Win 7 64-bit. [Fixed]

The game window does show, but right after that I get a generic Windows error saying "Doc Clock.exe has stopped working".

Screenshot, for what it's worth.

I don't know if it is useful but here's the text of the problem details:

Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
Application Name: Doc Clock.exe
Application Version: 0.0.0.0
Application Timestamp: 4e0d27a3
Fault Module Name: MMDevAPI.DLL
Fault Module Version: 6.1.7600.16385
Fault Module Timestamp: 4a5bda29
Exception Code: c0000005
Exception Offset: 00018c7d
OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.48
Locale ID: 1033
Additional Information 1: a7aa
Additional Information 2: a7aa91f17ea749d42a4de3b390fa5b3d
Additional Information 3: a7aa
Additional Information 4: a7aa91f17ea749d42a4de3b390fa5b3d

I've tried some of the solutions that were suggested in other threads, like trying to delete a .dll, but it hasn't had any effect.

Fixed (on its own)?

What language are you trying to run the game in?

At the moment all the languages other than English are broken. We are working the resolve the issue as soon as possible.

Cheers

I'm running it in English, and I re-selected that in the game launch options just to make sure.

Hm, that seems to make it work now, I wish I had thought of it before! Thanks for the reply, in any case.
