Steam keeps taking away my hours on this game

Anytime I play this game, then get off steam and back on, steam keeps taking away a huge chunk of my recorded time on the game.

Please tell me I'm not the only one with this problem.

This has happened on most of my games the last 48 hours.
I suspect the issue to be with Steam.
