Certainly. I liked it a lot. It has interesting puzzles and a good story.

Frankly, without having playing it, Nikopol seems like a clash of ambition and funds, the same that happened with the previous White Birds games: the extremely flawed Paradise and the slightly flawed Sinking Island. The idea of having Enki Bilal and Benoit Sokal ideas together is appealing... but an adventure game has game design, an engine and some dialogues apart from the eye candy and the surreal stuff. And I don't know if it is the distributor or what, but White Birds seem to really have a problem designing games.

If it's only 5hrs gameplay for £2 then thats value.
Put it this way, you'll pay £15 for a DVD film for only 2hrs entertainment! |

It has a low metacritic score. Here is the link to Adventure Gamers review who say it will only appeal to fans of the comics. http://www.adventuregamers.com/article/id,923
I don;t think you should equate purely in terms of amount of gameplay. you can have more fun playing Monkey Island for the same time that this game I reckon. |

I played it 3 years ago and loved it, it's like a 5 hours comic.

Even if its cheap I'd say it comes down to if you like the comic, or that comic style, I bought it retail for that very reason. But as Risingson said they have succeed in some areas and failed miserably in others.

Is it bad that I bought this game because it was tagged under the cyberpunk genre and felt I needed to have it since games in that genre are so sparse?

I don't think so, it is a futuristic adventure game based on a very good comic set in the future. I wouldn't necessarily call it cyberpunk but it does lean towards it.

If they fix some typos like "Appartment" and made it wide screen, it's worth a buy.
