Steam Client Beta Available

There's a new Steam Beta client available. To access the Beta, go to File -> Settings. On the Account tab press the Change... button to open the Beta Participation dialog. Then Select Steam Trade Beta Update, and allow Steam to restart itself. Here are the specific changes:

08/09/2011

- Added Steam Trade (see the Steam Trading Beta FAQ)
- Added inventory view on Steam Community profiles, to see your TF2 items
- Added drag-drop of items from your inventory into chat
- Added bucketing of friends in the friends list – right-click on a friend as select ‘Tag as…’ to organize them into categories.
- Added Brazilian-Portuguese and Bulgarian language support
- Added a much improved dialog for when a game is being converted to use the updated content system
- Fixed a case where Steam Guard would unnecessarily re-ask for activation in the Steam Client.
- Fixed offline mode not working if there was no remembered password.

- Steam Gift inventory is no longer visible to other users. We are working on adding the ability to adjust the privacy settings of your inventory and control who can see it. Until that's ready, we're going to err on the side of caution and keep your gift inventory private.
- The ability to purchase a gift and keep it on your own account to send or trade later has been added to the Store. At checkout time, choose "Purchase as a Gift", then select "Store the gift in my inventory to send later".
- Fixed a localization issue in Finnish that prevented the Inventory and Trading pages from loading properly.

Tried to look at the link for Steam trade, it says help desk error, article does not exist or you do not have permission to view article.

Fixed now.

Indeed, and after updating the client, the FAQ link for Steam Trading Beta returns the same Help Desk Error page.

Found first bug: I added a few tags, when I click on: Only show untagged people, and then remove that again. The friends start to overlay. In the untagged group.

Edit:

Actually it just lags a little I think.
