Looking for some extra challenge?

So you've conquered the MegaNOED on Master Technician difficulty, and you're looking for something more challenging? Here's a few extra challenges for you to test your robot maintenance skills against:

Beat the game on master technician with only the EMP Rifle, P2P Beam and Tractor Beam upgrades (AKA Spartan Blitz).

Collect all 1800 Upgradium (100 from each level) (AKA Upgradium Blitz).

Beat Radar 1 and 2 without using the tractor beam. (Also see if you can find a way onto the dish in Radar 3).

Earn 500,000,000 points (AKA Master Technician).

Now Earn 1,000,000,000 points.

Try to beat these times:
Tesla Lvl 1: 1m23s Lvl 2: 1m25s Lvl 3: 2m30s
Fans Lvl 1: 0m29s Lvl 2: 0m34s Lvl 3: 1m05s
Ammo Lvl 1: 2m45s Lvl 2: 2m:40s Lvl 3: 2m16s
Security Lvl 1: 1m11s Lvl 2: 1m07s Lvl 3: 2m:20s
Radar Lvl 1: 1m10s Lvl 2: 1m19s Lvl 3: 3m05s

Yep.

The designers needed someone to get an idea of the fastest times possible, and I ended up being that someone.

I know those are the goal set out to get points for the Xbox360 version, but do you get anything out of doing them on the PC version?

Only three of those are Xbox Achievements. There are no rewards on either the PC or the Xbox for the other challenges. They're just something fun to do.

I've done the 500m one... I'm 5 upgradium away from completing that challenge too.

I'll get started on the time challenges once I get I've done that

How did you get the time it took you to do each level?

I wrote a line of code to print the level timer. Unfortunately you can't do that.

There's never been a better time to learn to use a stopwatch with your toes.

I'll put in a feature request for a console command to print the level time. (Although that's not a guarentee that it'll make it in).

For the time being, you can see the current level time by hitting tab and typeing:

editactor class=RBArenaGRI

Then find the None section and look at ElapsedTime. That'll give you the time in seconds.

Well, I went back to roboblitz for some reason and I've now done the 1,000,000,000 challenge and I've got all the upgradium. That single peice in the 1st ammo level is a complete ****.

Also, I was expecting more bonus content than...

They should add the XBOX Achievements into Steam Achievements.
