Leaderboards - ranking criteria?

So what's the criteria for reaching the higher ranks?

I know the more idols you have up, the better... but what then?

1) Does speed count? Meaning the faster I complete it, the better I rank.
2) Does weapons count? Do I get more points for using weapon X than weapon Y?
3) Does the amount of weapons used count? Meaning if I only play with one weapon, do I rank better?
4) Does the distillery things matter? If I use less of them, will I rank better?


Currently I'm #37 and I'd like to know what to do in order to succeed better. I'm pretty sure I score better when I don't use the health/special potions, but a confirmation would be nice.
