2 issues with the demo

One is, for some reason, whenever i leave the demo, whenever i launch it again the options have been reset. I need to change the resolution everytime as well as the mouse sensitivity.

Second, my framerate is smooth but for some reason i ocasionally get audio stuttering. System specs: Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0ghz, HD 5850

Does anyone else get these two issues?

I have both of those issues. The audio stuttering went away on its own, i think i just restarted the computer. One issue i get is i am unable to load the jetpack mission. I just get stuck at the loading screen

I also have these problems. I just got used to setting all the options each time i run it or just not close the program.
For the audio, setting the priority of spacemarine.exe in Taskmanger to High seems to solve that problem.

The graphics resetting, something I experienced to. Minor issue.

I didn't notice anything else, I thought it was a pretty solid demo actually.

Agreed. The demo runs very well. It's one well optimized piece of software.

All options resetting whenever you run the application is a known issue. It's unfortunate they didn't go the extra distance and patch the demo, but all in all it's not a big deal in my book (even if someone were to put an unhealthy amount of hours into it, cough cough), and of course won't be an issue at all in the full game.

I'm not complaining...I doubt the reset issue will be in the final game, but i wanted to see if the audio stuttering was a problem on my end and if it was fixable in case i also got it in the full game

There's also a stuttering problem in Relic's other game, DOW2. If the audio device was set to the default setting of "Windows default" and you were using a different driver, the stuttering was horrendous.
I imagine the UI and options will be improved/expanded for the release of Space Marine so hopefully they'll have the option to select the audio device.

I'll say, I turned off my switched my GPU to Intel Integrated HD graphics, and was still able to get 20-30 fps. Impressive for an integrated chip but, needless to say, I get much much better from my GPU.

I'm guessing since it's just a demo it doesn't write any files, so it doesn't save your keybinds. It's not intended to allow for game saves and profiles, etc.

sound issue, idk. Mine works fine.

According to the devs, it's a kind of unintentional leftover from the console versions of the demo. (I.e. the PC demo _was_ supposed to save your settings, but they forgot to re-enable the code in question, or something like that.)

how do you uninstall the demo? I went to control panel but can't see the game demo in the list like other demos i installed in the past.

delete local content from steam.

I dont think they bothered to add things like saving your options and stuff, the options are very basic (basacally you choose between good and crappy graphics and thats it.) main reason it doesnt save anything would be because it only has 2 very short levels and people arent expected to play this demo over and over again, just get a taste of it and if u like it, buy it.

As for your other issues, i have not had any of those problems, but changes are they will be gone if you turn off v-sync.
