t13, what was the biggest value you could try?

12 crashed for me. Unless that setting is in another file as well. I only checked ai_props.scr

Yea, even 11 crashes. t13, you sure, that you only modified this single file to increase the zombie density?

Yeah I don't know what I did when it worked. I took the screenshots..ah..ok now I gotta totally revamp what I did. Give me a few to test it out.

Ok, would be awesome if you can figure it out again

This would give my bro, a mate of mine and me a ♥♥♥♥load of more fun. We are playing Dead Island all weekend long in coop now.

Alright I think I'm onto something here. I set the ZombieDensityMod value to 100 and loaded up the game. My save had me @ the Lifeguard station. If I leave the area on foot and when the game loads zombie models in I crash. However if I fast travel to the city I'm fine.

So it's only crashing in "outdoor" areas. I then fast traveled to the lighthouse and boom..crash. Curious.

Also to oldbrokenlink don't mean to be hijacking ur thread mate..I can start another if needed.

Can you add "Fix the annoying cracking popping noises for USB Headsets"?

If I had a shred of programming skill, i'd help out, but I'm too dumb and impatient to program. :/

Interesting...most likely a thing we cannot fix (easily) :/ @ ZombieDensityMod Values.

If you or someone else can find a fix tho...now that would be awesome.

lol fk modding get at developers to fix this ♥♥♥♥ty port shouldnt have to mod just to make it playable like buying it just to repair it wtf

why would they even release it, its like their desperate for money lols. couldve worked on it a little longer for pc.

how to save your profile and game save

your profile is kept here
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\<id>\91310\remote\out\profile s\default.pro

your save is kept here
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\<id>\91310\remote\out\save\sa v_0.sav

<id> - is your steam id i think, there should only be one directory there for each login that you have i would think. if you are like me you only have one login and one id

91310 - is the steamappid for dead island

All he did was bind "Quick Inventory" to "Mouse Wheel down".

Ok oddball as heck here..but I left the Lifeguard station the other way and it ran just fine so now I'm totally confused.
