The Xbox 360 version

So many threads being moved from the PC section lately.

But yeah, I've always wondered why they couldn't do this. I don't see how new weapons and maps would take up SO MUCH space and not run on our system when other games have more detailed physics and huge open maps (not to mention DLC, free and paid ).

Just give us all the content that came with the core class updates. That would be at least one new weapon in each slot for each class. Optimize it for a new game disc that only has TF2 and its updates. Or release it on the next Xbox. It's just lazy they did NOTHING to give us anything new. They might be good PC developers, but on consoles they are lazy bastards.

I find it funny that every second thread is about updating the console version.
At this point of time, it is 100% improbable that Valve will ever update the 360 version. In terms of economics, it just wouldn't be profitable for Valve to put effort into improving the TF2 experience on the Xbox. The community is on life support and not much people are at its bedside.
Keep in mind the PC version is now free so many people will have the "Why buy it on this when it's free here" mentality.
I'd love the 360 version to get an update, but I've faced the disappointing facts: it won't happen.

Besides, on some respects I like playing Vanilla Fortress 2 from time to time. There's not many people I've seen who glitch on the games I join and those who do are swiftly counteracted by me.

@TheRealSkybox: That doesn't really justify anything actually. It is an eyesore in some cases (not in your case though) and is also a good indication of determining intellectual class.

*claps* You took the words right out of my mouth. Valve has already used up all their free memory for updates on The Orange Box. Paying for an update on a dying game is a bad business move. Stop making these stupid forum threads we have already discussed this issue.

Also this is a forum thread on the internet. All you need to do is spell everything right and nobody will care. Revising your sentence to make sure that every piece of grammar and punctuation is correct is a huge waste of your time because nobody cares if you make a mistake. Everyone makes mistakes. You only need to revise sentences on a letter, or a resume, or like an essay, something that is important. Sit down, shut up, and let people express their thoughts without being judged.

Valve isn't a charity foundation that spits costumer satisfaction without profits.

Paid DLC has never been a problem for Valve. The answer relies on several questions, like how many buggy DLC have they released for the L4D titles?

It's a fact that the playerbase is bigger on consoles than on the PC counterpart. This means that they will continue to "support" it because it'll generate revenue.

Valve is a business. Do you know what a business is? Look it up, you will be surprised that one of their most important priorities is to make money.

Valve agreed to Microsoft's licensing agreement. Why is it Microsoft's fault? Valve failed to research the system they were working with. No one forced Valve to sign any contracts, and Valve actually expected Microsoft to change their Xbox Live licensing policies so they could update the game at no cost. That's hilarious.

Tons of companies have worked with Microsoft without issues. They could have released paid DLC like every other non-stubborn developer.

With this known, why haven't they released simple bug fixes, mandatory content, or any content at all to Xbox users? Because they'll waste labour force and money without any profit at this point. Also, because they don't give a ♥♥♥♥ anymore.

Don't get me wrong. I admire Valve and they have contributed well to the gaming industry, but they did screw up this time. Blame Microsoft all you want, but that won't change the fact that Valve made a mistake.
