XBox 360 controller

The game says it is controller enabled but, I can not get it to work other than just moving the cursor around the menu pages.
Anyone know if and how to get a wired XBox 360 controller working?

Please don't tell me how a keyboard/mouse is better, I just want to get the controller working for this game

Use a keyboard and mouse. Also you have to manually bind your gamepad inputs. You kids these days. ( MAH CONTROLLAR SHUD WORK AUTOMATICALLY IM 2 LAZY TO LOOK AT THE GAME OPTIONS!)

Seems like a lot of games handle it differently. Few things you can try...

Make sure the controller is plugged in, launch the game and check the control settings. See if there are arrows or something that you can click to change mkb to controller.

If that's no good, try launching the game with the controller unplugged and then plug in the controller. It may auto detect if there is a change while the game is launched.

The controller is not setup to work automatically other than the mouse move you mentioned. It does work well with the key bindings if you set them up in the options menu. After MUCH work choosing and altering i have a pretty good set up. As far as KB&M vs controller.... KB&M is always naturally superior in FPS, but in third person controller wins hands down for me.

A lot of people out there don't care how most people like to play games, they are looking for solutions on how they can play.

I am sick of replies on posts telling me to use WASD and mouse or die.
My left elbow is 99% useless to me. I am right handed but, have to play non=configurable games with the mouse in my lap left handed.
♥♥♥♥ all of you telling me WASD or Get over it
