Nametag colors so confusing??

I don't get it. In the Kill notification area on the top right. Russians are red and Germans are Green. But while playing, our team mates are both green and red.

I mean what the hell. If they are trying to distinguish among team members cant they use any SYMBOLS or there are a bazillion more colors that can do the job. I dunno why such minor common sense is missing in the design of this game.

Yeah i figured it out eventually. That was not the point of the thread. I am just annoyed at poor design choice. I think that can be remedied in future patches.

Thing is, NO enemies have names in game. If you're close range, No name, shoot that gent.

Red Army: RED
Wehrmacht: TEALORSOMETHING
Squadmates independant from faction: GREEN
the name tags over the head of soldiers are only visible for teammates.

You know what, since we're on the subject, as an Axis Kar Ho I keep getting mown down by Allied assault troops. With their green helmets and crouch running, they don't look different enough from my own side and I daren't tk...

the russians are easy to spot on most maps. their mustard colored uniform makes them easy to spot.
and just check your map. when i go into position i check the map for a second to see which area is save to fire at.

I am severely color blind and only team kill when I honestly screw up and get twitchy. In game uniforms and helmet types are extremely easy to distinguish not to mention the running styles, weapon types/sounds, audible yelling, and where the enemy usually pours out of.

Interesting! I may have to try disabling the color in my monitor (somehow) and playing in grayscale. Once I've learned to distinguish between the teams by other cues, I'll turn color back on. Training!
