I also got one from someone else by PM but good idea. It'll give me more material to submit if they are picky...

Do you want a deadline for picking?

tbh i thought that you picked one already so that i can give out the 2 copies already. (i would like to pick the 2nd winner)

on the other hand, it's also ok to leave it a few hours more for people in other timezones.

Someone PM'd me one and MobyGames happened to accept it, it was just bad timing on the part of this contest. We can still use people's stuff as "testimonials" on our site if people want to be quoted... good to have people be happy about the game.

Your first problem is you're caring what review websites have to say. Unless you're bogging around the 50 point mark or less, don't worry too much. 99% of reviews from the Internet are simply skewed. Metacritic is a joke. There are people who knock a score up or down to offset the other people knocking it up or down. It's not even a secret. They will explicitly state that it is what they are doing.

As for me, it has a fast paced retro arcade feel that I crave, but a graphical optimization issue, I think, which is limiting my experience. I have a high end PC, and yet I struggle to run this game on low(er) settings, which is odd. That all I can comment on until I accumulate more hours of play. The only other thing I would point out is other than a view change, did you intend for the perspective change to give distinct advantages and disadvantages? There would be an easy solution to that. Have LoS and LoD distances normalized for each view. Worth a test in my opinion. I'd love to hear the results.

Keep up the good work, dev team.

It's a matter of a small dev team not always having every hardware/software configuration.

As far as caring what sites say - really more about just the fact that before HIB, we had hardly any press... other games were getting reviews, but we weren't for some reason. Just wanted to get the word out - our audience has now exploded about 22x with HIB though

Good Lord. It's an old review, perhaps by one of the peeps who only cares for innovation (which I don't care for)

Outdated review..
