Strange you don't have all the issues like the hoards of people posting in this forum. Did you get the game off Steam?

Yes, at first had popping texture than i went to my nvidia control panel to force vsync + tripple buffering and set my own custom AA/AF.

Not that bad, but the megatexture technology is not very impressive. They tuned it to work smoothly on consoles and left the PC version unoptimized. Other games from minor studios like Hard Reset look more detailed and run way better than this.

Hell even a modded Quake 1 (1 2 3 4) or Doom 3 (1 2) look better.

Sadly id went with the consoles this time...

Just a post to say the game is running smoothly for me as well. I feel bad for those that are having a hard time because this game is awesome. I think once the bugs get worked out you'll all be happy with the game

Funny, I can't even get into the sewers. It crashes on me while i'm loading into it.

That's what I forgot to do, force enable triple buffering. Maybe that'll get rid of my screen tearing.

Turning on vsync itself causes more tearing and i lose fps for some reason.

EDIT: Didn't assist my LoD issue unfortunatly. Oh well, there's patches on the way, and maybe nvidia will release a non-beta driver.

Nope not the only one. The game is a blast when it works (which it has for me since I installed it). Here is the vid I made to show it working, so that there can be hope for others. The game obviously looks better for me in real time 1080p, without youtube compression or the FRAPs hit, but you can still get the idea.
