Cant get co op working

Hello there I bought this game hoping to play with my friends and after hours of trying we cant get it working.
We both made a gpg net account and it wont let us log in keeps saying 'please veyify username and password' it lets us log onto the 'supreme commander' server but not space siege.
We have tried creating many accounts on different combinations of the drop down menus but not luck ' keeps saying use a different username and password'
We tried tunngle..we are able to see each other but cant connect.
Really frustrating as the only reason we bought the game was to play co op.

If anyone fron sega or gpgnet is reading this please help us!!

Same problem here.

As well I can't even get the game to start because of an exception error.
