just bought this game durring the special just to find out it's not working and there no support for it

Empire Interactive was a UK based video game developer and publisher founded in 1987. It was closed under administration on May 4, 2009.

There's support for it, via Steam. And it works just fine for most people.

Seriously, though, what did you expect? Game devs come and go all the time. When you see a game's release date listed as "2003," odds are you're buying an orphaned product.

If you need help, try posting specifically what's not working in this forum (apologies if you've already done that).

so there is no support for this

i'm thinking of buying a copy to give as a gift so im interesting in finding out what problem you are having...

plus maybe we can help you

please post exactly what the problem is

if its crashing go to windows event log and post what you see of it in application / system event log

if the game has a log file post what you see there

also if it's directx that is failing post directx log...

I'm someone else who was hosed for a game that doesn't work and that there is no support for. Nor is the unofficial patch available anymore. Nor does any of the other advice in this forum work. I've already spent way too much time trying to find a solution.

How can Steam still be selling a game that doesn't work for so many people in light of the fact that there is no support for it anywhere.

I am having the same issue it seems as a lot of other people that bought this game through Steam. You try and launch the appplication, it goes to a white screen and then crashes. The forums are full of people having the same issue. The problem is no one can come to a concensus on how to fix it other than some patch that doesn't seem to exist anymore. I am in Win 7 64bit. No log to speak of post crash.
