The latest news is from Bman over at the UFO Scene forums.

I don't know if you are aware but Xenonauts is another XCom clone set to come out in a few months. There is a good chance it will be out before ET2 but it doesn't look quite as good graphically. Gameplay looks to be better since you can actually fire from behind cover instead of being a standing target. lol

Yea, that's one area where UFO:E fails IMO. They didn't take much advantage of today's tech to make a better Xcom. They used 3D graphics and then don't even allow you to rotate the tactical maps and going prone and cover would have been two more good additions. Even JA2 has prone and cover.
I was just reading some posts on the Xenonauts forum and see one can get access to the beta if they pre-order. Did you pre-order and get the beta? Last edited by gjork: 06-18-2011 at 11:36 PM. |

I love that they go back to earth, but i dont like the look of the "new aliens"(except this one, this one is cool Image).
anyway i realy hope they go more into the ufo defence way, because ufo extraterrestrials was ok but it feels a bit undone. Special the animations of death or something. Last edited by Ecirp: 06-20-2011 at 05:03 AM. |

I'd like to get better cover mechanics, and more base Management.
I HATED I couldn't build my bases the way I wanted, I didn't want a bunch of hangers in satlite bases, I wanted to put my production in one base, and my research in another and basically task them, so I could Super tech. |
