Need help with controls

I have an xbox 360 controller, but first level tilting right made me go right and tilting left made me go right. After going into the remap section it still happened. So I tried reversing the directions and it still is reversed.

Now after several attempts of fixing the controls it's just totally messed up. Anyone have a copy of their keybindings.xml file that works with xbox 360 controller?

The controls are relative to the ship, not player. Which means that no matter what you do they will be bat-♥♥♥♥ insane half the time. You might get some traction using the d-pad half the time and the analogue the other half. Or maybe remap to the right analogue stick and use the d-pad when you're facing one way and the right analogue the other way.
