It's a GFWL game, it's not false advertising. It's your fault for not a) reading the reviews, and b) reading the forums.

EVERY game that says it requires GFWL fr online play will install it . The reason being most of them have achievements attached to them and these are kept by GFWL.

As for returning it, why? Play the thing it's a pretty decent game that's got a good SP to it. If your still wanting to be anal about it stick a support ticket in. Maybe Valve will remove it from your list, though i doubt it.

And in future do a bit of research on what your going to buy

I resolved it going to dir :

(steamdir)\steamapps\common\universe at war earth assault\xliveredist

Run the xliveredist from that directory.

GREAT FIX IT FINALY WORKS!!! i installed that game about 6 times on different hardware, now it works THX!
