Map editor for Steam edition

I was wondering if there was ever a version of the Fantasy Wars map editor released that was compatible with the Steam version of the game. Both of the ones available from 1C's site say the game is not installed and will not launch.

Also a save game editor would be rather handy to test a few things without spending hours on a failed campaign just to find out some technical info (Most of the information out there on this game is superficial at best, I haven't found a really thorough walkthrough or break down of level up mechanics and the like)

I uploaded the map editor files. Should be compatible with Steam. Extract in base dir.
