I don't have time to look into it please help

I am getting 60 fps constant on highest settings indoors or in dungeon some where around the 30's with dips and spikes on open world i read that amd cards are not running on the correct settings no matter what you do with the config tool (don't know if its true)
I am running
E8400 3.0ghz core 2 duo
amd 6950 (overclocked)
8 gbs of ram
and a old school 7200rpm wd drive (sad i know)
will be upgrading when ivy/panther point hits just want to know if that sounds right

Probably something to do with your draw distance... Try reducing it down.

My Sapphire HD 6950>6970 runs Skyrim great after 10 hours of play my fps has not dipped lower than 59fps anywhere in the game. I would say you have something else going on with your rig.
