Can't Get My Wireless 360 Controller To Work
Hey guys.
I did forum search, and couldn't find an answer to my problem. I hope I'm not alone! I'm unable to get my wireless 360 controller to work in game. Anybody have any ideas as to a solution? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated, thanks! PS - I had the same problem in "LIMBO" recently, but a DEV patch soon sorted that out for me. I'm assuming I shouldn't be expecting any patches for this one since it's been out a while and DEV activity seems slim. |

I don't know if you're still having this problem or not, but I was definitely having this problem recently and just got it sorted out.
In my case my problem was that the game detects joypads automatically and, even though it only supports the 360 pad, it will detect ANY pad. I had a Super SmartJoy pad plugged into another USB port which WTF and a couple of my other games were automatically giving priority over the 360 controller. In games with an actual control options screen, I could just go in and change the joypad, but in games that had no such options screen, they kept trying to use my SSJ gamepad, which is not compatible with those games. So the games didn't respond to my 360 controller because they were ignoring it and they didn't respond to the SSJ controller because they weren't compatible. Anyway, blah blah blah. Sorry. All I had to was disconnect my other gamepad and WTF started detecting the 360 pad like it should. I would recommend disconnecting any other joypads you might have plugged in, or if you don't have other joypads plugged in, maybe try unplugging some other devices that may be interfering somehow. Whether or not this is your particular problem, I hope you get it figured out okay! Last edited by genoforprez: 11-15-2011 at 05:37 AM. |
