The incompetence of Rockstar is anthological...

All the frikking evening trying to install L.A.Noire retail version with no success, something about Social Club failing to download and install the first patch.

Then I can't find a bloody official forum in all the Rockstar Network to request support or to say some obscenities against somebody at their PC QA department.

Why the hell you make something called Social Club and it got no forum?!?!?, or at least I can't find it in the links maze Rockstar Network is.

Yeah, I filled a ticket support, don't worry, just venting my utter frustration.

Rockstar doesn't have a support forum, or any kind of forum, actually. They took them all down and moved to the current support ticket system, which, in there words, allows them to provide "one-on-one personal support."

I have found a solution (a surrealistic one)...the game doesn't like the spaces.

Install it with no spaces in the installation path, i.e. C:\LANoire

Hopefully my frustrating evening can be useful for others. Now on the hunt of a FoV fix and some performance tweaks for this terrible console port...30 fps cap, Santa Madonna.
