minimizing problems

Ok so recently i bought the penumbra collection becuse I had seen some stuff about it before and thought it looked pretty cool but once i installed them and tryed to play it would minimize it self and i couldn't maximize it again. I tryed to find out what the problem might have been by reading other forum posts but to no avail. I apreciate your help.
