Anyone getting the following error's when loading?

After loading Project Aftermath, I get the main screen which gives me the option of play, options and quit.

When I press play I get the following messages:

Lua Error
data/engine/_bootstrap.lua
stack traceback:
[C] in function 'dofile'
[string "data/_bootstrap.lua"]:2: in main chunk

When I press ok, I then get a completely blank screen with a green mouse pointer and the following message:

Runtime Type Exception!
FactionEngine has encountered an error. A crash log has been created.
Abort Retry Ignore

Any ideas to over come this? Is this a steam issue, or a developer issue?
