One of the most under rated games ever??
Personally I think this is an incredible game that wasn't given credit by any of the big reviewer (pretty much screwing up any chance for a sequel
) and I'd go as far to say its one of the most under rated games I can think of.Can anyone else think of any other game you'd say is under rated? |

I like it more than... now it's right.
VA has small rpg elements. If you have enough experience, you can skill 3 things: Morphium (holds on longer, you can take 2 with you on the 4th from 5 points) Sneak (faster sneaking) Strength (got more defense/HP) Oh, and it is 5 Euro here, i think thats 3-5$ for you

I agree, I beat the game twice and never found out why it got such low scores. I loved it and always recommend it to my friends.

I recommend it to anyone who will listen to me! I think what really annoys me is when all the reviews didn't get what the game was meant to be - an rpg - so when guns start ♥♥♥♥ its because the player has put no points into making that weapon better.
Well that and the fact they said it had major bugs and all I can remember thinking is that fallout 3 had more bugs but were completely overlooked! |

What a total shame both the publisher and developer abandoned this game. All the game needed was a couple of patches to smooth out some of the rough edges. The storyline and characters were awesome. It was a fantastic RPG experience. If left me craving more.

![]() Alpha Protocol was the only rpg that truly managed to create meaningfull consequences to your actions. Consequences were not getting an email from a random npc you helped in a sidequest (with no possible explanation how the hell they could find your mail). This game has some hard choices to make. I wish there was a chance for a sequel. |

Definitely. This is a diamond in the rough. An excellent, if unpolished experience, like a lot of the games Obsidian puts out. I will be very disappointed if someone doesn't eventually make a sequel. I know Sega said they won't, but my hope is that it gets enough of a "cult following" to encourage someone to. Plus the whole spy RPG thing is just too good of an idea to ignore.

This game is more interesting, lasts longer and runs better than the last 2 60$ titles i purchased. and it looks good as well.
The game style reminds me of Mass Effect 2 slightly. Here is your proof that reviews are often a crock of sh**. Paid 2 bucks on sale. this is deff a WTH WERE THEY THINKING!!?? |

I actually really liked this game too, kinda sad there will never be a sequel. Sure some of the gameplay needed some fine tuning but I very much enjoyed the actual story and characters.

I'd even say some parts are better than Mass Effect 2 such as the conversation and the timed limit on them and how they unfold. |
