Just got game - Won't launch!

I just got the game a week ago and I can't get it to launch. I installed it and updated all of my drivers. When I tried to start the game it continuously had the "Preparing to Lauch" box up. After 20 minutes, I restarted my computer and tried again. Now, when I try to start the game, a game window outline pops up and then disappears, leaving nothing started. Nothing shows up in the task manager saying that it is running. This happens every time I try to play the game and I have waited 15 minutes to see if it would spontaneously start, with no success. How can I get this game to start?
P.S. I have already contacted Steam Support and have tried everything that they suggested (verifying the cache files, updating everything, etc.).
