online co-op?

I just bought Dredd in the last sale for a friend and myself. The games main page says that it has co-op, but how exactly does it work? I tried hosting a co-op game, but my friend couldn't find any servers, and same when he tries to host a co-op game.
So how do is set up a co-op game?
