I know this is not the right forum. But Ubisoft also released Hawx and the game has a million bugs, including the dumbest AI ever.

Ubisoft has become a console-hore crappy company. I will never buy anything Ubisoft again.

IMHO Ubisoft is a fail company. I haven't purchased a Ubisoft title since Vegas 2 and I'm glad for it. The people complaining here might just be the vocal minority, but most of the reasons listed here for hating on the game are the same reasons I would hate on it too.

Ubisoft's track record on releasing quality games for the past 3-4 years is not very good. Here is what their general strategy is for taking your hard earned $50.00.

1.) The CEO (not gamers or creative designers) makes the final call on what's fun and what will be allowed to be in the final product. And completely ignore what the fan base is asking for in said game. For example, even though there was a huge cry on the forums for Assault mode in Far Cry 2, even from the forum mods, they completely ignored it.

2.) Put completely unreasonable time limits for creating said game so the end result feels and plays like a half-baked game.
Hence the lazy porting.

3.) While the game is being developed put most to the budget money into hype and marketing. Commercials on TV and Community Developers on the Ubi forums to get everyone all hot and bothered about the sheer awesomeness of the devs and the game itself.

4.) Post release there is a blackout of communication between the loyal community and the devs about a patch or any of its features. The Community Devs switch from hype mode to damage control trying to ally everyone's fears about if/when a patch will come at all.

5.) Between 1-3 patches MAY be released, but these cause more problems then they solve because the patch was rushed or not tested properly. This applies to the console versions as well.

6.) After 6 months support is dropped from said game without any official announcement. Loyal fans keep posting on the forums in hopes for a fix, but it falls on deaf ears because Ubi has already moved on to the hyping/promoting the next game.

Folks this is how Ubisoft decides to conduct themselves as a company. And frankly they aren't getting anymore of my money. I don't fall for the Ubi-hype anymore. I stick with reliable developers/publishers from now on that have to earn my respect.

I agree completely. It's sad to see a company fall from grace so badly.

They've become what EA used to be years ago - shoveling titles out to market without much care or thought or support or anything beyond marketing hype.

This is the part that killed it for me.

I could not believe this was happening when I was playing.

I have yet to win any battle because of this.

And I never believe trailers, because trailers are just hipe
and NEVER EVER resemble the real game play at all.

Its just a short hyped up movie.

I am so frustrated with this game, that my wife begs me every night not to play it.
she even goes so far to even bribe me not to play it.
because I end up in a extremely bad mood.

I really try to give this game a chance, thousands of times
after work. but within 5 to 10 minutes of playing the game.
I am caught into the spin of yelling and banging on the table.


My wife, for gods sakes learned to play this game and even she says its broken.
and she dont play video games. but she learned this one
to find out why I get so upset all the time I play this particular game.

now she knows why.
she bribed me to uninstall it.....lol
