Half Life 3 ARG Thread

Not sure where to post this so I posted it in both EP2 forum and HL2 forum

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=liYNOm0dzrM
  • The text at the top of the Wheatley video says:СПУТНИК НАБЛЮДЕНИЯ "ЛАНТАНУМ"
  • Number found in Wheatley video FMP2WH0912. This is the same number as a coupon code that was release last month for Portal 2 merch

Frequency-shift keying: Frequency-shift keying (FSK) is a frequency modulation scheme in which digital information is transmitted through discrete frequency changes of a carrier wave.[1] The simplest FSK is binary FSK (BFSK). BFSK uses a pair of discrete frequencies to transmit binary (0s and 1s) information. With this scheme, the "1" is called the mark frequency and the "0" is called the space frequency.

  • In english: OBSERVATION SATELLITE "LANTHANUM"

  • Lanthanum in greek Greek λανθανω [lanthanō] >>>>λ<<<<
  • http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isotopes_of_lanthanum
  • He says: 1 1 1 at the end.
  • Consumer Electronics Show is sometime between 10/1 and 13/1 2012, which means 11/1 could be CES
  • LANTHANUM is Atomic Number of 57, In group THREE of the Periodic table.

  • The word lanthanum comes from the Greek λανθανω [lanthanō] = to lie hidden.

When Wheatley taps the camera to get clarity, two images are in the frames. View both of these with red/blue 3d classes and close one eye.

This youtube channel appeared during the VGAs. It only has Weatley's speech from the VGAs on it. Beware it may or may not be relevant. Subscribing, will update if needed.

Just for the record my post of "Lanthanum's atomic number = 57. 5+7=12. 2012. 9 letters in lanthanum. 3+3+3=9. Three threes. In 2012 we will be getting three threes. HL3, CS:GO (the third CS), and L4D3. Mind = blown," is a joke.

Its also in group 3 of the periodic table. Your tin-foil heavy joke may actually have merit.

Insofar as lanthanum having a number of 57 and belonging in group 3 of the periodic table may be relevant in some way, but extrapolating from the number 57 and the word lanthanum that Valve will release two as yet unannounced games is a bet of a stretch.

I can make an account called Half-Life 3. I'm not sure why we should consider this randomly named account at all important.

What's worse is that when it ends up being nothing, everyone will blame Valve.
