"Securom = No buy"
Totaly my mind after seeing it has securom, but mass effect 2 and portal 2 are enough for today.

They should take their sh** and learn it some day...steam is already enough copyprotection.

I'm sure these threads are beating a dead horse, are ticking some people off and more or less flood some of these boards. But in case of topics like these I really think it cannot be stated often enough. Publishers need to wise up or get out of the PC business right now, leaving it up to companies who have a clue and/or care.

Missed the $5 offer but was going to get it even for $10 for sure (would even consider the full $20). But with 3rd-party DRM, no way, not for more than $3. That's $3 for the convenience, otherwise I wouldn't pay $0.01 for a copy that's lower quality than the one others get for free. Bad enough I have to be connected once.

Just to sum it up on the off chance an executive still didn't get it:
1. Effect of DRM on piracy: None (they have cracks)
2. Effect of DRM on legit sales: Negative (lowered product value)
3. Effect of DRM on casual copying/resale: None, since non-existant on Steam

at first I was like, ok, the OP is being a little ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Then i bought the game myself and it has been 2 days and I still can't launch the freaking game. Should have listened. How dumb can these developers be to be jarateing off actual customers while pirates just laugh hysterically at them.
