Game dose not load.. just a white screen??

I can not get this game tio load... I click on it in my library and then the app crashes on a white screen. I hear no sound.. just loads a big white screen. I have tried memory modes in auto and say as well as RBG and direct X hal. I have also tried windows mode. Also I have tried installing direct x9 frommicrosoft and the app says iu have all the files and did not install anything.. dxdiag says I am using dx11 though. I also updated my nvidia drivers to the latest version

Any ideas what to try now? I really love this game and wish to play it on my new faster system so i cna have even larger more epic universes with higher pop caps.
