How active is the multiplayer?

Before I buy, I want to know this.

Dead, as in nobody playing; although there might be a few now. Just like every other game these days older than a couple of months that's not from one of the 'big' three of four MP franchises. Pity, as the MP is pretty well designed. The game is much like Deadspace 2 and FEAR 3 in that regard; the devs really tried and the lemmings just reverted to CoD and BF.

Well worth the money for the SP game alone.
