Game difficulty details

Can please someone tell me the difference between the game difficulty levels?
Though obviously the "brutal" is harder than "challenging" which in it's turn is harder then "normal", what's the exact difference? Enemies have more HPs? Hero's attack damage is lower? Mana regenerates slower?
Or are there more significant changes? Less powerful artifacts in trade and loot? Some areas are locked? No chances to get to the higher experience levels?

The enemies definitely hit hard and take forever to defeat. I didnt notice any other changes, but those are enough

You have to be really careful about taking damage on the hardest difficulty.
