What is the point of unlocking new gear?
They seem to be devoid of stats.

The gear doesn't have any stats. It's only in for aesthetic reason. So you can vary character outfit in various missions, making it bit more varied and less linear.
The other point is by collecting all the 'gear' in the game, you get the achievement for it, so that's one small point. If you not one for achievments, than the gear doesnt add any stats at all, it's just you character would look diffrently and less montonous. ![]() * bit pointless, by that's why First Templar isn't totally a great game *

I've enjoyed the game. I like in-depth games like Dragon Age, but this is a good "arcadey" type thing to just pick up and play when I want some straight-forward hack'n'slash.

its an easy(relaxed) but still fun game to play in coop mode
single player is ok but in coop you can do the puzzles with levers and such much faster even more fun if you try to go for the achievements (if you like achievements) |
