Stuck at mission 6; Into the Wild. Just attacked one of the defense tree-ridden planets with 170 seedlings and it wasn't even a fight, just got obliterated. Is there some core gameplay mechanic I'm missing or is this game really that tedious that I'll need to go make a sandwich, check facebook, etc. while waiting for an army of 300 or so to spawn so I can have half a chance (then 300 more for the next asteroid, and again, and again...)
Edit: can't even leave it as the spawn limit seems to be set to 40 per planet for some reason, so I need to keep coming back and moving everything to the one planet so the seedlings can keep spawning. Last edited by SweenMachine: 12-24-2011 at 09:09 PM. |

Also, is there a way to delete trees? Would go a lot faster if I could replace the defense trees on the starting/conquered planets with Dyson trees.

Chapter: Into The Wild
Level 6: Forest Spoilers ahead... Hint 1: Although it's possible to take on the defense tree-ridden planets here, it's best to avoid them for a while. Hint 2: There *is* a path... Hint 3: Right-click once to send a single seedling to scout each planet. Hint 4: The path is to the south. Hint 5: There is an area where you will have to pass through a field of defense trees. Hint 6: You'll get some good planets for backup on the other side of that field. And no, there is no way to delete trees. Although it would be convenient, it does come slightly into strategic play later when you're deciding which planets to attack/defend. Last edited by godprobe: 12-27-2011 at 07:07 PM. |
