I agree, the games a waste. I've tried so hard to like but I just can't. I played the 3rd missin in the polish campaign and get on normal every time. You know why? The game isn't realistic by a long shot.

I drive my best polish tank up next to a tracked enemy tank with 30 side armour. My tank has 54 pen. at 100M. I was 10M away.

It took me 12 shots to kill the fking thing. Anyone who calls this game realistc is an idiot.

I have finished the polish campaign and i haven't had the problems like you have, so the only person you should be calling idiot is you if you can finish it.

So you're saying 12 shots to the side armour from 10m away is not a problem and is in no way unrealistic?

Like i said, it did not happen to me, at last the polish tanks are total crap you will not finish the campaign with those pee shooters, there is no way that polish tanks could defeat mark III or mark IV. The only way you can defeat that german armour is with 75mm gun.

CpT_x_Killsteal, i'm 90% sure you are actually penetrating it, but this simply doesn't help in your situation. For example, if you are targeting the hull, everbody inside may be already dead, but you don't know it yet. You just make more holes in the hull. If this tank keeps firing back at you (someone is alive), try to target the turret (there are small selection buttons on fire order button). If your tank can move, you can position it behind that problematic enemy tank (at 10-15 meters or so) and fire at hull so you'll hit the engine or at turret back to kill crew members who could survive.

BTW, always try to align you and target so impact angle would be close to 90 degrees. This is vital in some late war scenarios when facing heavy tanks as well. For example, in one mission you have T-34-85s agains Tiger IIs. Naturally, if the Tiger II turret is facing you, it's pointless to aim at the turret. You need to aim at turret sides or hull sides at angles close to 90 degrees and position your tanks accordingly.

Overall, ToW1 has some too hard missions, later games are more managable i'd say. I'd suggest playing Panzer Lehr and Belorussia campaigns in ToW1, they are easier. ToW1 Polish campaign is close to being impossible for a new player.

Mk. Thanks for the advice, I'll give it a try later. Thanks.
