How the HELL do you play this game?

I click play, then the button says repair. Nothing happens. I click repair, after a while it does that and then I see PLAY. So I click play, and then I see repair.

delete, download again

Play Repair

KILL MYSELF.

Same problem here. Downloading new launcher and deleting CClauncher folder doesn't work. Nice, after 10GB dowload

My download always stuck at 99.9% (Did it four times. That's 4x10Giga). This is the ultimate failure of a game and it's support (Even if it supposed to be free.).

I still can't play this game.

Any ideas? I can't get the achievement because the game won't start.

Checked their website today and they want you to download a exe to replace the one in Steam\steamapps\common\crimecraft which is called SteamLauncher.exe

Here is the link so you can have a look, But there is NO way I am putting that in my steam folders.
Just leave it until steam fix the problem

No. No, it's not. I have downloaded this game 3 times now. Countless times I've tried verify and repair cache and the game's own repair button.

THIS PIECE OF ♥♥♥♥ DOES NOT WORK.

Did you try restarting steam ofter switching the file they offer?

That doesn't help. The file that they give you is the updated launcher, and Steam wants to use the older version. Placing the file that they give you into your Steam files isn't going to help because Steam sees it as a corrupt file. If you verify the cache, Steam replaces the new launcher that you put in with the old one that it wants to use. If you run the game after verification, the launcher automatically updates itself to the new version that Steam, for some reason, doesn't like. It's a never-ending cycle in which the game and Steam undo each other's actions.

In a nutshell, The problem seems to be that there is incompatibility between the launcher that the game itself wants to use, and the launcher that Steam wants to use.

P.S. It would sure be nice if we could at least get SOME help from a Steam employee or a forum mod.

Weird.

I tried a different computer and it worked. I don't care what makes it not work on mine. I got the achievement and my godforsaken piece of coal. I'm done with this game!

Try to use another computer guys. The achievement is pretty damn easy. Only took me one round.
