Atom zombie smasher is doing something odd, please help.

so basically here's the problem when I start the game i think only part of it loads up, for example the screen is either black or white, but i hear the menu music playing, I recently bought this game and don't know if its the c++ error because there is no notification and the files have had their integrity checked, this is happening with other indie games as well, but that is for a different board.
any help would be greatly appreciated

Let's try to diagnose the problem.

1. What video card do you have?
2. What operating system do you use (Windows XP, Windows 7)?
3. Please download this diagnostic tool: http://blendogames.com/dev/3dtest.zip and paste the information here.

I am currently using Windows 7 ultimate as my OS
I am using the Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chipset Family as a videocard
Lastly I am sorry but the diagnostic tool you linked me to does not seem to work, it mimmics whatever was behind it, if you want I can post my system diagnostic from dxdiag.exe

System Model: HP Pavillion dv6700 Notebook PC
Processor: Intel(R)Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T5550 @ 1.8GHz
RAM: 2GB
also I'm using DirectX11

It sounds like the game is not cooperating with the video card. Here are some possible solutions:

I have tried both renaming ATIGKTXX.dll and downloading C++ however neither seem to be working, the only difference between the two was, after I had changed ATIGKTXX.dll most of my taskbar dissappeared after launching the game, leaving only the date and time.
I do not think re installing .Net framework is necessary because I have installed it twice today, once for Terraria and once for Solar 2
