Cannot play single player

I'm trying to start a single player game, but after I press the Start Game button, the game is loading a little then it says "Server disconnected". I don't wanted to connect to any server, just play a single player game with some bots.

What's wrong with this game?

Does it always do it, or was it just temporary?
And can you play online, or is it only when trying single player?

I sometimes was disconnected when playing online, but it was always temporary. It may not be the same issue as single player though.

I can play it online and after several try, I could start one map with bots in single player. When I choose any other map in SP than ISS, the game says it's disconnected from server.

now that's funny (actually NOT), i can start any single player i want, but can't join a multiplayer game.

This seldom happens to everyone. Just try again in a few minutes. At least it always works for me after a couple of tries at most.
