Did I lose my TF2 crafting materials?

Quick question to anyone who got the moustachium achievements, how long did it take to get your corresponding TF2 items afterwards? B/c I don't even play TF2 and I'm worried that my first two alloy bars are lost forever to the aether.

Give it a few days, then contact support. If the bars haven't shown up by the time they respond, you have a problem that only they can fix.

If you don't play TF2, then why are you concerned at all?

But as for the amount of time it takes, when I got them, they didn't show up on the Steam inventory at all until I ran TF2.

Now that you mention this, I had the same thing happening whenever I traded TF2 items. The new items wouldn't show till I ran TF2.

What I meant was that I am not playing TF2 right now; way too much else to do 'til the summer. But I guess I can redownload the game and see what happens.

Well, if that's the case, then don't worry about it.
They'll show up when you do eventually run TF2.

It didn't work

I contacted zachtronics support and they said it's a Valve thing, so I guess I'll have to wait for Valve to return that steam support ticket...

OK I checked a second time and they were there. I never received a response email from support, so I'm gonna assume that I was an idiot and missed it the first time
