Ice and Blood

I had heard somewhere that the "expansion" was going to be released on steam tomorrow. Anyone heard anything?

It's unlikely it'll ever get released on Steam. It did used to have store page for non-US regions, but come it's release date, it was never actually made available for purchase. It was finally removed from the Steam store a few weeks later.

That sucks. Oh well, I just ordered copies of the UK I&B and UK Collectors Edition. Hate to have to jump through all those hoops just to play the game, but I really want the whole thing. The extra stuff in the community patch should be cool as well..

I foolishly went and impulse bought this game on steam forgetting about the I+B expansion.

I already have both fallen angel + I+B on disk, but like to add games I already own onto steam when they go cheap like this and throw the disks away ...

but my retail copy of I+B wont work on the steam copy? My order states I bough Sacred 2 EU, will the retail expansion work on this or not?

I cant get Ice + Blood to work with my steam version because the 'language patch is not compatible'.

I have the UK version of Sacred 2 on disks, and the Steam version says EU, but it must be the US version because it wont install.

You mean you have the UK version of Ice & Blood ? I don't know for sure if it will work or if it will give you a serious problem with Steam, because Steam might see this as file hacking and you could loose your Steam account, but you could try this on your own risk:

note that Sacred 2 Steam version is already at 2.43

You absolutely will not be in danger of losing your Steam account for trying (successful or not) to install Ice and Blood on Sacred 2. The worst thing that will happen is that it won't work.

It works, I have US version (steam) and UK version ice and blood.
As said in above posts, just follow directions. Its not a quick easy 5 sec fix.

Thanks, that worked and its installing now. Nice that I can the retail expansion working through steam, so I dont have to buy that again

There isn't. Probably because the american publisher at the time (CDV) didn't have much interest in it or Sacred 2 sales in the american continent weren't very high.
