Angry AI "Manuel" spamming EMP

I love this game. Basically a plane version of PAM and Blur but something gets on my nerves. Some AI seems to prefer one powerups, especially Manuel. He seems to only use EMP. Never have seen him use any other powerups. This is very annoying. I did try to catch up to him to use my own EMP on him but he activates his as soon as I come in range, distroying me everytime.

A great game otherise but with silly, cheating AI.

The EMP blast is easy enough to counter. Just use Boost the instant you get hit to catch back up, shoot him down with the machine gun from a distance, or be sure to have a shield powerup on hand when you catch up with him. Let him waste his EMP. For hilarity, have a shield and a shockwave. When he wastes his on your shields, hit him right back.

There is no such thing as "cheating" when it's within game mechanic limits.
