Guess I'll be buying a lot less games on Steam since the sales are usually games I don't want. Oh well. won't be buying a full-price game ever again that's for sure.

Try this strategy anywhere else and you'll still get the same thing..No digital game store gives price matching or guarantees. |

This is why I wait for sales, and why I got this game for $5.

"Control your Impulses"
"Control your Impulses" a mantra that I follow. Never rush or buy anything in haste. If you have been on Steam for a while you know the sales, daily deals, midweek offer etc. pop up every now and then. Control urself and buy only during those times.

If you spent $20 on the game then you must've been happy about paying that much for it. The fact that it is now on sale, or would be in two weeks, or two months down the line, is irrelevant. You may be unlucky but you are NOT entitled to any sort of refund, period. Now go enjoy your purchase and stop being a whiny ♥♥♥♥♥.

I'm another who thinks that $20 is way too much for this game. ;D
I looked up the price some time ago, jaw basically dropped to the ground (WTF?! $20 for bejewled?), decided not to pay that absurdity and forgot about it. Just after it went on sale I bought it and so far have spent MANY hours playing. Next time don't buy any indie or older game versions unless they're on sale or you *really* want it and freely choose to pay the full price. I did that with the Portal series and the Witcher 2, just a month or less before their price dropped. That's just the way it is, not really something you can complain about and expect to be taken seriously. :

It's not the same game you can play for free. The free version is only "Blitz" mode, while Bejeweled 3 has 8 different game modes, and one of those game modes is made of some different mini-games.
To the OP, sorry, but you thought it was a fair price when you bought it. |
