Whenever I try to start Sonic and Sega All-Star Racing, it crashes right after the Sumo logo. I've tried configuring different resolutions and checked the audio settings in the Windows control panel to ensure supported settings were being used. Anyone know a way to fix this? I'm running:
Core i7-2720QM 8GB Ram AMD 6750M Windows 7 64-bit I've also tried using compatibility mode on the executable, but the crashes continue to occur. Here's the crash info: Problem signature: Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing.exe Application Version: 0.0.0.0 Application Timestamp: 4b700995 Fault Module Name: XAudio2_5.dll Fault Module Version: 9.27.1734.0 Fault Module Timestamp: 4aa1b293 Exception Code: c0000005 Exception Offset: 0002512c OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.1 Locale ID: 1033 Additional Information 1: 0a9e Additional Information 2: 0a9e372d3b4ad19135b953a78882e789 Additional Information 3: 0a9e Additional Information 4: 0a9e372d3b4ad19135b953a78882e789 - EDIT - I found a solution for this crash. I had to reconfigure the settings of my sound card from 'quadrophonic' to 'stereo'. Now the game runs perfectly. Last edited by goldenretrogame: 12-20-2011 at 04:56 PM. |
