Trouble with moving SpaceChem from Windows XP to Windows 7

After getting a new computer and OS (Windows 7 64 bit), I set about to move my Steam games from my old Windows-XP-based computer to the new one.
I chose the (admittedly) not-so-fast solution of redownloading the game.
All that was missing then were the savegames. This thread says where to find them in Win XP: http://forums.steampowered.com/forum....php?t=1783811
But that directory doesn't exist on my old PC (neither there nor in any other place was any Zachtronics folder).

So I tried creating a backup on XP and installing from backup on Win 7.
Didn't work either: No savegames are included and the game window has the size/resolution of the old, smaller screen.

Help ...?

All I can say is that Steam Backup will not help - it only backups enough to do a clean restore. You'll have to try to find your saved games and copy them over.

I've now contacted Zachtronics Industries' customer support. Hope they can help. If not, maybe will look for someone with savegames for where I last was.
