Where are the game files?

I'm trying to mod the game but I can't find the folder where I'd extract it to or any of the game files anywhere in my computer. When searching for the game title all that comes up is the shortcut. Tried searching for my saves, but that doesn't come up with anything.

Can't swear to it as I got the retail version donkeys years ago, but you should be able to find the game under Program Files(or Program Files (x86) if you're on 64 bit)\Steam\SteamApps\common.
