Dark Void retail copies with bad discs
This is more of a cautionary thing for all you owners of boxed copies of Dark Void. I got a copy for Christmas, and it refused to install. I assumed the disc was bad, got an exchange for another copy, and hey presto! Same thing over again.
![]() Went through four copies (all the store had left), before I found a working one. You current owners might want to...I dunno...back up your discs somehow without breaking any copyright laws, since they seem to have expiry dates on them. ![]() Awesome game, BTW, but a real PITA to get working.

I get through by copying all the files on the DVD then run the setup.exe on my hard drive...
BTW I don't see any serial number on the back of the manuel but it clearly says I need one to install/register on capcom... |

Yeah, I resorted to doing that with the last copy, but the first three wouldn't even do that for me.
I didn't register and the game installs and plays fine.
